Early Creations
Three early film and experimental video works — festival, graduation, and gallery — that shaped the practice.
2016—2020
Where
Short Film · 40 min · Rome Independent Film Festival
This is an early narrative film project that tells the story of the impoverished lives of a young brother and sister in a small town, with which I was selected for the Rome Independent Film Festival.

2019
Film · 50 min · CAA Gold Award Graduation Project
This is a narrative film I shot in 2019, based on Scar Literature. It tells the story of the generational trauma experienced by intellectuals in both rural and urban areas during the post-Scar era. After being falsely accused and reported in the city, a young intellectual is forced to return to his hometown, where he witnesses his father’s and grandfather’s generations living out their lives with an indomitable intellectual spirit. This work won me the Gold Award for Graduation Project at the China Academy of Art.

Bunny Girl Senior
Digital Video · 30 min · Experimental
An independent experimental short film with a playful and tongue-in-cheek tone. Set in a world where bunnies must be exterminated, it follows a bunny-loving girl’s final stand against the world, shot in the style of a pseudo-memoir. It expresses my conceptualization and aesthetic understanding of early internet culture. This work has been exhibited at the 6th Cross-Media Art Festival and the Hive Youth Art Exhibition in Beijing, among other exhibitions.
